- Damaged door tracks also created inefficient use of some doors and docks as it was too difficult to open and close the doors. This resulted in frequent down time and productivity loss
- Warehouse was losing money from costly repairs to vehicles and building
RESULTS
- Improved energy efficiency within the next few months which triggered other discussion to upgrade other parts of the facility for productivity improvement
- Eliminated any further damage to equipment to the high traffic areas by installing track guards that can withstand impacts up to 10,000lbs
